Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Developk's Tools (https://developk.kr, "the Service") handles user data.

🔒 In short: Text and files you enter are never sent to or stored on a server. All conversion, generation, and validation happens entirely inside your web browser.

1. Tool Input Data

Each tool on the Service (password generator, hash generator, JSON formatter, timestamp converter, etc.) runs client-side, in your browser. Text you enter is never sent to an external server — it's processed only in browser memory and disappears when you close the page. We do not collect sign-up, login, or account information.

2. Exception — Tools That Require Server or External Lookups

Some lookup-type tools, by their nature, have our server (Cloudflare edge functions) receive your request or query an external service. In these cases the value you enter (a domain, IP, URL, etc.) is transmitted as described below; your input and the results are not stored and are processed and returned only at request time.

My IP Address — your connecting IP and approximate location are looked up at the Cloudflare edge.
DNS Lookup & Email Verifier (MX) — the domain you enter is queried against Cloudflare DNS (DoH, cloudflare-dns.com).
Whois Lookup — the domain/IP you enter is queried against an RDAP service (rdap.org).
IP Geolocation — the IP/domain you enter is queried against external IP-location services (ip-api.com, ipwho.is).
HTTP Headers, Security Headers Checker, OGP/Meta Extractor, Heading Extractor, SSL Checker — our server connects directly to the target URL/host you enter to retrieve response headers, meta information, and certificate details.

These lookup tools run only when you enter a value and run them yourself, and neither your input nor the results are stored on the server. All other tools (password generation, hashing, formatters, encoding/conversion, etc.) are still processed entirely in your browser and never transmitted.

3. Cookies & Advertising (Google AdSense)

The Service may display ads via Google AdSense. This involves the following:

Third-party ad vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits.
Google's use of advertising cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites.
You can opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ad Settings, and opt out of third-party cookies at www.aboutads.info.

4. Analytics

The Service uses Cloudflare Web Analytics and Google Analytics (GA4) to understand visitor traffic.

Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies and collects only aggregated, non-identifying data (page views, approximate visitor region, referrer, etc.).
Google Analytics uses cookies to collect usage statistics such as pages visited, time on page, device/browser information, and approximate location. It does not collect directly identifying information (name, email, etc.). See Google's Privacy Policy for details. You may opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

5. Hosting & Access Logs

The Service is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Standard server access logs (IP address, browser information, etc.) may be processed by Cloudflare for hosting and security purposes.

6. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated as needed; changes will be posted on this page along with the revision date.
